2021-srw Senior Analyst -Product Development, Collections

Overview

The Senior Analyst will lead the daily execution of new product development projects from inception to product launch. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for asset management, supplier communication, project management, and management of relationships with cross functional partners.


Responsibilities

Project Management 
  • Execute project plan throughout all phases of development for multiple projects of varying scope.
  • Communicate key project milestones and deliverables to supplier base and cross functional partners to ensure project timeline is upheld.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to monitor and track key milestones progress throughout development.
  • Identify project risk and work closely with project manager on mitigation plan.
  • Provide up to date product and/or development information to key stake holders to maintain project plan and cross functional alignment.
  • Communicate cost updates to Merchandising counterparts throughout development.

Sample Management 
  • Manage incoming/outgoing samples between suppliers and internal teams; coordinating with Inventory Control and hand conveyance
  • Coordinate all JDIW transfers and inspections. 
  • Coordinate samples to support Marketing, PR, and Senior Leadership needs.
  • Prepare samples for weekly meeting presentations, conferences and other business needs. 
  • Update and maintain sample trackers as requested from cross functional teams.
  • Facilitate sample disposition upon completion of project.
  • Ensure samples are labeled, organized, and maintained through project lifecycle.

Stone Management
  • Ensure stone procurement for key milestone dates based on project timeline.
  • Oversee and manage stone inventory needs for projects; including stone requests, work order creation, work order clean up, bill of material set up and PO requests.

Systems & Tools Management
  • Input & maintain data integrity throughout various product development tools and systems, to establish and guide project plan. 
  • Manage Signoff Process – End to end ownership of systematic sign off of styles masters/SKUs with cross functional teams to meet launch date.

Project Close Out
  • Manage payment processing and database entry for samples, CER, & expense. Follow up with Accounts payable counterparts for any open invoice resolution.
  • Manage sample and stone reconciliation.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
  • Proven ability work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage and uphold departmental standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and project management skills
  • Process-oriented, detailed and strong aesthetic sensibility
  • Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing priorities and prioritize deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) with ability to learn new software
  • Undergraduate College degree preferred
  • Prior Merchandising or Retail experience, preferably in a luxury branded product 

Preferred Qualifications are as follows:
  • Basic Gemstone knowledge; Graduate Gemologist a plus
  • Overall industry knowledge for product category
  • Prior Product Development experience
  • Overall product development manufacturing process knowledge
  • Complete working knowledge of Tiffany & Co. merchandise information systems and operations
