PAL: Remote Visual Arts Presenters, Jewish Culture

Jewish Art Education (JAE) is seeking speakers to present a 1 hour long slide-accompanied program on Jewish Art and Jewish artists. Presentations and scripts are provided from JAE.

Candidates should be comfortable speaking in public, especially to groups of adults. Candidates should possess excellent organizational skills, comfort using technology to facilitate program delivery, and a willingness to source clients for presentations (with assistance available from JAE's Marketing Director). While presentations have in the past been presented in-person, remote presentations are acceptable via a video call platform.

The ideal candidate has a desire to learn about Jewish art and convey your enthusiasm on the subject to an audience. Interest in education and availability for daytime presentations is also ideal.

While programs are typically delivered in the speaker's local area, remote presentations can be conducted to an organization within any location. Speakers will locate organizations for presentations (i.e., library groups, senior centers, educational organizations, etc.), but have assistance of marketing director for help.

Resources are available from JAE to help a presenter locate presentation audiences and also to help market the programs.

Speakers receive a $90 stipend per presentation (which is a 60% commission rate of the $150 cost of a presentation paid for by an organization.)

Hiring is ongoing, and more than one student can be hired.
