Grant Writing Internship (Remote Allowed) - Summer 2020
The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards for social workers, and to advance sound social policies.
NASW is committed to helping members meet their professional development needs through credentials, training courses, newsletters, consultations, employment information, job search tools, and publications. At every career stage, social workers are ethically required to keep informed of current research and new practice techniques to better serve clients and constituents.
The New York State Chapter of NASW is seeking an intern to work on locating and applying for grants for the National Association of Social Workers. The intern will work with the Executive Director and the Operations Manager to identify organization capacity and strengths. Then, the intern will use online programs to find grant opportunities to present to the staff. Once a grant is identified, the intern will begin the application process.
