Administrative and Marketing Internship, Remote work allowed

The following Internship is available for the 2020-21 season:
Administrative/Marketing Intern

Reports to: General Manager
Type: Summer, Fall or Spring Semester, unpaid (possible college credit), part-time 6-10 hours/week

The intern will work closely with the General Manager on patron development, institutional and
program
marketing, and social media and website content.
Duties include:
•Creation of multimedia marketing materials
•Assisting the General Manager in the creation of social media and website content as well
as the development of press releases
•Creation of multimedia display(s)for use in Patron Lounge
•Other duties as required

A qualified individual should possess the following skills:
•Creative Writing
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
•Working knowledge of editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)

Home Made Theater is a 501-c3 Non-profit community theater company located in Saratoga Spa
State Park, Saratoga Springs, NY. We pride ourselves on being community theater with a
professional edge. Our internship program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a well-established not-for-profit arts organization. Internships are available for summer as well as during,and leadingup to,our regular season, October through May. Internships include practical experience in development and marketing with networking opportunities while working from home.
Further opportunities could include box office, administration, andworking theater professionals in the house, office and backstage dependent on developments with Covid-19.
