Business Immigration Analyst/Paralegal

Our client, one of the world’s largest global law firms is seeking an entry-level Business Immigration Analyst / Paralegal to join a busy team of legal professionals that work on a wide range of US nonimmigrant and immigrant matters. The successful candidate will have strong writing skills, and recently earned or earning in May their Bachelor degree, GPA of 3.3 or higher, and an interest in business immigration law. Relevant internship experience focused in law, research, and/or writing is strongly preferred. Availability for daily and weekend overtime is a must. This is a contract to possible hire opportunity.
 Day to day responsibilities will be to assist foreign nationals and/or clients with applying H-1B and L nonimmigrant visas, and employment based permanent residency. In this role you will draft letters and cases, assist with legal research, perform administrative job duties, and provide assistance with special projects as needed. The firm offers great training, a friendly & business casual environment, and catered meals brought in weekly.
 Qualified applicants should be able to interview and start working ASAP. The interview process and position will be REMOTE - until stay-at-home recommendations are lifted. Candidates must be able to work full-time in DC within a week after normal business resumes. The Business Immigration Analyst is an immediate contract need, and can lead to a permanent position with the team. When applying, please submit your resume, unofficial college transcript, and one to two writing samples to supportstaff@legalplacements.com.
