Internship in Investment Solutions (Undergraduate and Masters)

As an Intern in Investment Solutions at Dimensional, you’ll be part of the team working to inspire and change the way our clients (and the people, companies and causes they support all around the world) invest for the better, to help them enjoy the present and feel secure in their futures.

A place for art and science
Dimensional is a place where science and creativity meet – with the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup and 37-year track record of success. Whether or not you’ve crossed paths with finance (or even looked over in that direction), we seek people over pedigree, looking for a variety of experiences, backgrounds and perspectives. A role in Investment Solutions might be worth exploring if you:
  • Pursue excellence, whatever you set your heart to—as a thinker and a doer
  • Bring creativity, ingenuity and your unique perspective to help others do better and be better
  • Have a way with words—written and spoken—but no need to brag about it
  • Architect better ways to get things done, always considering the future implications of what you put in place
  • Enjoy rolling up your sleeves to figure things out, whether new software or new skills

A multi-talented team
Investment Solutions collaborates with teams across Dimensional—such as Research, Portfolio Management, Trading, the Global Client Group, Marketing, Legal and Compliance—to help our clients and people understand and communicate what makes investments “tick,” from finance fundamentals to cutting-edge capital market research. We bring together top talent from all walks of life who:
  • Want to make a difference
  • Thrive on meeting challenges and set the bar high for themselves
  • Have a passion for learning and the track record to match
  • Enjoy working as a team and helping others succeed

A 10-week paid internship
As part of Dimensional’s internship program, you’ll join a coterie of interns in Investment Solutions and belong to a firm-wide cohort of students from around the country (and world), spanning teams and functions across the organization.
From your first weeks of structured learning to the independent project you’ll deliver at the close of your internship, you’ll get a feel for what it would be like to be a contributing member of our team, forming a picture of what a full-time role at Dimensional might be like after you graduate.
