Art & Digital Art Teacher


One River School of Art & Design, a company whose mission is to “transform art education”, is
looking for part time and full time visual art and digital art / design teachers.  We are looking
for hard-working, team players who love helping people learn and are motivated to grow.

One River has developed a new method for teaching art that makes it fun to learn while also
producing compelling outcomes. We teach a variety of proprietary classes to students of all ages
that builds proficiency in drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media and cartooning, manga, digital
painting, illustration, design, animation and more. Our studios are state of the art and you will
find that teaching at One River is a completely different experience than any other art program in

experience for compelling educators.

The ideal candidate is a thoughtful art educator with a proven track record of delivering engaging
and student centric experiences in the classroom. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic
about art, focused on great student outcomes and also want to make sure that their students have
fun. Lastly, they need to be prepared and open to ideas and feedback.

Qualifications / Requirements:
•    2+ years teaching experience in a public / private school or alternative art education
program
•    Actively working towards a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited, four-year college or
university
•    Thoughtful communication skills
•    A passion for One River School’s mission
•    Able to work a non-traditional schedule, Saturdays required
