The City of Saratoga Springs Planning Department is a busy, dynamic office in which you will be directly involved or in a position to learn about:
Complete Streets Planning and Implementation
Saratoga Greenbelt Trail Implementation
Unified Development Ordinance (a comprehensive update of the city's Zoning ordinance and subdivision regulations)
Support and Research of the National Resource Inventory
Anticipated Update of the City's Open Space plan
Energy Benchmarking
Energize NY PACE Financing support and outreach
Assisting with Documentation for Climate Smart Certification
Sustainability planning
Grant research and writing for new opportunities
Internship period is flexible and dependent on candidates' needs. The office is within walking distance to campus.
This internship if available for credit. Open to second year students, juniors and seniors.
Open to international students.
