Spring 2019: Marketing Internship-- Downtown Saratoga
MARKETING INTERN
This is a part time unpaid internship that works one on one with the Marketing Director to assist with generating ticket sales, promoting brand awareness, broadening our constituency, and analyzing the effectiveness of various marketing strategies. This is a great educational opportunity for a student seeking experience in live music presentation, arts management, and grassroots non-profit business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1) Write up creative social media posts for Facebook, Twitter & Instagram, with a goal of maximizing attendance and mission awareness. Social media priorities will be established by the Marketing Director
2) Design advertisements for online and print outlets
3) Design posters for upcoming shows
4) Put together promotional videos for upcoming shows
5) Write press releases for newsworthy shows
6) Create marketing plans for special events
7) Maintain listing on online entertainment calendars
8) Create ticket pages through our online ticketing agency, Brown Paper Tickets
9) Write compelling artist descriptions for upcoming events and select promotional assets for website
10) Conduct research for the Marketing Director on new audiences to target, new marketing tools, new places to advertise, effectiveness of various strategies, and marketing analytics
